For the fifth consecutive year, we’ve ranked in the top 10 on Interior Design Magazine’s Top 100 Giants Survey. Earning the top spot in Government Design, we also moved up a slot to No. 4 on the list of overall Top 100 Giants and ranked No. 5 in Office Design and No. 6 Transportation Design markets.

Interior Design Magazine’s rankings are based on 2018 fee volume. Jacobs far exceeded other firms in the Government Design market, reporting fees of $68.36 million last year on projects, including a five-year contract to support the planning, programming, design and construction of various types of military buildings and facilities at military installations located throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.

“These rankings with Interior Design Magazine underscore the incredible opportunity our talented experts tackle every day to create exceptional spaces,” said Built Environment Global Vice President Brad Simmons. “A sincere thank you to our partners and clients who turn to Jacobs to conceptualize and deliver sustainable designs that blend human need, environmental stewardship, value creation, science and art and latest technologies to transform lives for organizations and communities around the globe.”

Notable projects in the office and transportation design markets include several office renovations for a large financial institution and architectural and engineering design services for a $1.5 billion gate expansion project that will extend all three concourses at Denver International Airport.

“Our repeated top rankings in these markets serves as a true testament to our building design teams,” said Jacobs Global Director of Interior Solutions Nancy Siefert. “As a strategic partner, we keep abreast of evolving market criteria, stay invested in technological advances and provide cost-effective sustainable solutions for old and new facilities worldwide.”

With more than seven decades of work in built environments, Jacobs’ more than 5,000 strategists, planners, architects, interiors, designers, engineers, managers and constructors around the globe support government, commercial, institutional and industrial clients across diverse markets and services.
