Jacobs Wins New Air Force B-21 Aircraft Contract

Jacobs was awarded a new U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District Architecture and Engineering (AE) contract to support the planning, design and construction of facilities and infrastructure in service of the Air Force's B-21 mission. The Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) supports AE requirements primarily at Ellsworth Air Force Base (AFB), South Dakota, Dyess AFB, Texas, Whiteman AFB, Missouri, and other locations as the Air Force determines support for the B-21 program.

Q&A: Talking with Alyssa Carson, International Relations STEM Intern

Alyssa Carson has had an interest in space since she was a little girl. She is currently a junior at Florida Tech studying astrobiology, which she hopes will lead her to a career where she can one day research bacteria in space. At 15, Alyssa joined Project PoSSUM, a citizen science research group, and has since been able to participate in microgravity flights, water survival, airborne research and space suit testing. She joined Jacobs’ International Space Relations team earlier in the year and has thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different space agencies around the world.
