Jacobs Receives North Texas Tollway Authority Contract

PASADENA, Calif., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) to design the SH 121/US 75 multi-level interchange in McKinney, Texas, estimated to be $200 million in construction.

Jacobs' officials did not provide the contract value.

This 5.7-mile project entails reconstructing the vital regional interchange and intersecting roadway facilities. Jacobs' proposed solution includes constructing a new four-level, directional interchange including six direct connector bridges and nine mainlane and arterial street bridges. The project also includes roadway design of the intersecting mainlane facilities and frontage roads, accommodating HOV lanes along US 75, traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and toll infrastructure. Jacobs' services include project management, schematic and final design, and construction cost estimating.
