Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., through its South African joint venture Jacobs Matasis (Proprietary) Limited, was awarded a two-year agreement with Sasol Group Technology for project management services and specialized resources. Sasol is one of South Africa’s largest investors in capital projects, skills development and technological research and development. Sasol Group Technology manages Sasol’s research and development, engineering services and capital project execution portfolios.

Jacobs Signs THIOPAQ O&G Sulfur Recovery Technology Licensor Agreement with Paqell

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. signed a sulfur recovery technology licensor agreement with Paqell, a joint venture between Shell Global Solutions and Paques BV, for use of its THIOPAQ O&G (Oil and Gas) technology in refineries and gas treating facilities across the globe. This agreement positions Jacobs as the only gas treating and sulfur recovery licensing company to license THIOPAQ O&G to low capacity sulfur facility owners, providing a reduced capital expenditure (CAPEX) operational expenditure (OPEX) option, which eliminates the chemical waste produced by alternative technologies.

Minsur Selects Jacobs to Lead Pre-Feasibility and Conceptual Studies for Tin Mine Development Project

Jacobs Expands Role with National Transport Authority in Ireland

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded several contracts to support the National Transport Authority (NTA) in Ireland as part of the NTA’s strategy to develop greater use of sustainable transportation options. The NTA has re-appointed Jacobs to provide transport modeling expertise for an additional three years to support development of an integrated transportation system. Other contracts include supporting Cork City and County Councils with the Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy and providing transport planning services to assist with the re-design of the bus network within the Greater Dublin area.

Jacobs Wins US Air Force Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management Software Contract

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. was awarded a continuation contract for the United States Air Force Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) software development. The software supports the fleet of Air Mobility and Air Combat Command aircraft. The contract is valued at $34.6 million over five years if all options are exercised. Work will be primarily performed at the Jacobs Software Engineering Center in Nashua, NH.
