CH2M announced that Joan Miller was honored by Constructech magazine during the first annual Women in Construction awards.

Miller, a Senior Vice President for Client Solutions & Sales, joined CH2M in 1980 and currently helps clients navigate the complexities of their engineering, construction and program management challenges worldwide. She and the 37 other award recipients were announced at a dinner following the 2015 Technology Day on August 27 in Schaumburg, Ill.

“The Women in Construction demonstrate exemplary leadership and have accelerated the growth of technology, while inspiring others within construction,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech magazine. “Each woman embodies passion, tenacity, and grace even under the toughest of circumstances, which ultimately has empowered them to take risks and challenge the status quo.”

Miller has an established track record of demonstrating exemplary leadership in the engineering and construction industry and inspiring other women in the industry. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Engineering and Construction Contracting Association, is an Advisory Council Member for the Global Energy Management Master’s program at The University of Colorado Denver’s Business School and is a Board Member Emeritus for The Leadership Investment
