Industry Early Professionals Explore Melbourne’s Water Future
Jacobs Future Network in Australia hosts graduates from across the water industry to gain insight into the future management of Melbourne’s water resources.
Following on from the success of Jacobs’ event - Melbourne’s Transport Future - last November, this next instalment brought together close to 60 graduates from an array of organizations across Melbourne, Australia to explore some of the challenges posed by management of Melbourne’s water resources into the future. Stormwater Australia's National President Andrew Allan provided the event’s keynote address, discussing a suite of topics, from the broader role of water policy documents, to the implementation of water strategies at the local government level.
Organized by the Jacobs Future Network in Melbourne and welcomed by graduates across the industry, this ongoing series provides insight into a number of important issues facing Melbourne’s future development. It is an invaluable networking and professional development opportunity for young professionals at the beginning of their careers.
