Jacobs Attends National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) 43rd Annual Convention & Career Fair
Recently, Jacobs teammates attended the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) 43rd Annual Convention in Kansas City, Missouri USA. The event is one of the largest gatherings of black Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) talent across the U.S., attracting the best and the brightest engineers.
Our team was able to showcase Jacobs’ services and core values to the top young engineering talent.
“As a company that strives to be a place of diversity and inclusion, the NSBE conference provides us an immense pool of talent,” Jacobs’ Highway Department Manager, Derrick Vincent. “This year was no exception as the attendance exceeded more than 11,000.”
Jacobs supported this year’s event by sponsoring a booth at the convention career fair, which included an on-site interviewing area. Jacobs representatives shared their passion about the company with attendees and spoke with them about potential career opportunities.
Jacobs is a longtime supporter of NSBE, whose mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact their communities.
