Seasonal Climate
Finland is a country with four distinct seasons. Summers are very sunny with temperatures averaging +15 degrees Centigrade, rising as high as +30 degrees Centigrade in July. The cold and snowy winter season begins in November or early December, with temperatures hovering around zero degrees Centigrade. The average temperature between December and February is -4 degrees Centigrade. Late January is coldest, when temperatures can fall below -15 degrees Centigrade, and the sea is often frozen.
