Schwechat has a moderate continental climate: colder winters and warm summers, without excessive rainfall. It rains or snows on average no more than nine and not less than seven days a month. On average, 2000 hours of sunshine are registered annually, and it can get quite hot at times during the summer. The best times to travel are spring, the beginning of summer, and autumn.
