Survey Services (SIN 874-3)Survey services are vital to the success of program planning, development, and acquisition. A well planned and executed market survey can lead to the identification of possible commercial and/or non-commercial replacement candidates for systems. Surveys can also be designed to include identification of available commercial off-the-shelf/non-developmental items (COTS/NDI) as well as products under development. Market surveys can be formulated to yield both foreign and domestic products.
Under SIN 874-3, we offer expert consultation, assistance, and deliverables associated with all aspects of surveying within the context of MOBIS. Our services encompass planning survey design, defining and refining the agenda, administering surveys using various types of data collection methods as appropriate, sampling, survey development, database administration, analyses of quantitative and qualitative survey data, pretest/pilot surveying, and assessing reliability and validity. Our survey services offer versatility and diversity for a variety of applications. For example, our survey services in support of acquisition and procurement programs identify possible options for replacement items, or initial fielding of equipment to support the operating forces. This information can serve a range of purposes from concept exploration, acquisition, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), trade studies, rapid acquisition and fielding, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning, and program strategy formulation.
