PASADENA, Calif., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide information technology services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and certain other government agencies.
This multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a maximum order limit of $20 billion over a period of ten years.
Under the terms of the contract, the scope of work for this effort includes Chief Information Officer support; IT services for biomedical research, health sciences and healthcare; IT operations and maintenance; integration services; critical infrastructure protection and information assurance; digital government; enterprise resource planning; clinical support, resources and studies; software development; imaging; and outsourcing.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert Norfleet stated, "We are pleased to continue our support for the Institutes and Centers of the NIH and the Department of Health and Human Services to provide a broad range of IT capabilities, solutions and services to the healthcare industry."
